topmast stay
сущ. стень-штаг – снасти стоячего такелажа, удерживающие стеньги спереди (в диаметральной плоскости). В зависимости от того, какой стеньге принадлежит штаг, последний получает дополнительное наименование: фор-стень-штаг, грот-стень-штаг, крюйс-стень-штаг.
